Maria J Pinto is not only the founder and president of Naked Natural Alternative but also the visionary behind Industrial Strength LLC, the world’s leading manufacturer of body piercing needles. With over 29 years of dedication to the body piercing and tattoo community, Maria’s journey began when she recognized the need for natural alternatives in skincare to heal tattoos and body piercings.
Starting humbly in her family’s hypodermic needle manufacturing facility and later opening her own factory, Maria ventured into experimenting with small batches of Naked to create effective healing solutions for her tattoos. Her approach was hands-on and witty; when clients asked if her Naked products could be used on specific body parts, she’d humorously reply, “I’ll let you know in 2 days,” testing the products on herself first before confidently sharing them.
Her success was a labor of love, driven by her dedication to all-natural botanicals, clean products, and a “dream team” of supportive friends and family who willingly served as her test subjects—no animals were harmed in her quest for perfect skincare!
In 2022, Maria founded the non-profit House of Nipple, inspired by her close friend Mary Randles, to provide breast cancer survivors with 3D nipple and areola tattoos at no cost, aiming to make a meaningful impact in their lives.
Today, Maria continues her mission to see House of Nipple become a global phenomenon, empowering a “Nipple Army” of tattoo artists worldwide to transform lives and bring a final, triumphant touch to their challenging journey.

Breast cancer is a non-discriminatory disease that affects thousands annually. Helping cancer survivors is deeply personal to our president, as her best friend Mary Randles is a breast cancer survivor herself.
